Designer Profile: Jamie Smith

I have worked for Solopress since 2009 and work as one of the designers in the Artwork department. Design is real passion of mine and I have a great deal of interest in anything remotely creative - from photography and illustration to just art in general. As a Solopress designer, I produce work for a broad range of companies. I feel it's important to liaise with the customer as much as possible to gain a good understanding of both their company and their vision of how they want to be portrayed as a company. When I'm not staring at my Mac, I'm either staring into the viewfinder of my camera or just generally relaxing when I can. This involves anything from reading blogs, books and magazines to listening to music. Oh and not forgetting the cliché - socialising with friends!
