Hvad sker der med Pikachu? Siden 1995 er Pokemon-universet blevet udvidet og udviklet gennem videospil, kort og anime.\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

Et aspekt, som vi ikke kan undg\u00e5 at l\u00e6gge m\u00e6rke til, er Pikachus \u00e6ndrede form. Helt bogstaveligt talt. Lige fra begyndelsen har den nuttede musepokemon v\u00e6ret seriens ansigt udadtil; n\u00e5r de, der ikke spillede spillene, t\u00e6nkte \"Pokemon\", var det hans lille gule jeg, de t\u00e6nkte p\u00e5. Er det hele vandring?<\/h2>\n

Fra dag \u00e9t har vi vidst, at Pikachu ikke er nogen stor fan af at v\u00e6re i sin Pokeball. Han foretr\u00e6kker at g\u00e5 ved siden af Ash og hans andre kammerater, og af og til f\u00e5r han et lift p\u00e5 en skulder eller et hoved. Det virker mest sandsynligt for mig, at det har bidraget til hans slankekur; alle de kilometer gennem Kanto-regionen og videre har gjort ham mere tonet.<\/p>\n

P\u00e5 samme m\u00e5de kan Pokewalker ogs\u00e5 have skylden. Den var b\u00e5de en skridtt\u00e6ller og en Tamagotchi og var en tilf\u00f8jelse til Pokemon-spillene Heart Gold og Soul Silver, som blev udgivet for at opmuntre b\u00f8rn til at v\u00e6re mere aktive. Det bedste af det hele var, at de samtidig kunne styrke deres Pokemon.<\/p>\n

Er det en st\u00f8rre Nintendo-konspiration?<\/h2>\n

F\u00f8r i tiden blev Pokemon-markedsf\u00f8ring udvidet til at omfatte ting som disse: Pop Tarts, som er en \"morgenmad\" med h\u00f8jt sukker- og fedtindhold. De var rettet direkte mod unge fans, der elsker s\u00f8de sager, og de er nok ikke en del af en Pokemon-tr\u00e6ners n\u00e6ringsrige start p\u00e5 dagen. I disse dage g\u00e5r Nintendo den sundere vej med produkter som Wii Fit<\/a> og \"aktive\" spil, der er designet til at f\u00e5 spillerne til at bev\u00e6ge sig. M\u00e5ske er Pikachus slanke udseende et subtilt nik til dette.<\/p>\n

En sammenligning side om side<\/h2>\n

Her kan vi se en side om side-sammenligning af Pikachu fra \"gamle dage\" sammen med hans moderne udseende. Der er ingen tvivl om, at han er blevet tyndere med \u00e5rene.<\/p>\n

Selv Pikachus videospilsprite har f\u00e5et en lignende makeover. Der er ingen tvivl om, at den originale Pikachu har en episk nuttethedsfaktor; mange fans har bem\u00e6rket, at han ikke er s\u00e5 nuttet, som han plejede at v\u00e6re, og at han er for h\u00e5rd i spillet. Men p\u00e5 trods af bekymringerne over hans slankekur er der ingen tvivl om, at Pikachu-fans fortsat vil elske den funklende gule figur (selv om vi l\u00e6nges lidt efter gamle dage).<\/p>\n
