Alt Duplo-udstyr fremstilles af Duplo Corporation i Japan. Duplo International Ltd. er en uafh\u00e6ngig, familieejet britisk virksomhed. Fra vores kontor i Surrey har vi i n\u00e6sten 30 \u00e5r distribueret Duplo-udstyr til efterbehandling af print i hele Europa, Afrika og Mellem\u00f8sten. I alt leverer vi til 108 lande ved hj\u00e6lp af en eller to udpegede agenter i hvert land. Vi har ogs\u00e5 datterselskaber i Frankrig og Polen. Cirka to tredjedele af vores salg sker via eksport, og den resterende tredjedel er forretninger, der gennemf\u00f8res p\u00e5 hjemmemarkedet i Storbritannien.<\/p>\n<h2>Duplo-produkter<\/h2>\n<p>Duplo-produkter er designet og bygget med udgangspunkt i det, vi kalder Automated Precision. Det betyder bogstaveligt talt, at vi sigter mod at skabe p\u00e5lidelige, n\u00f8jagtige, fleksible og h\u00f8jproduktive l\u00f8sninger p\u00e5 de udfordringer, som nutidens printvirksomheder st\u00e5r over for. Det udstyr, vi s\u00e6lger, fremstilles p\u00e5 ISO 9001- og 14001-certificerede fabrikker, hvilket giver vores kunder sikkerhed for internationale standarder for kvalitetskontrol og milj\u00f8hensyn. Historisk set var Duplo kendt for sine papirindsamlere og bookletmakere, og de er stadig bestsellere blandt litotrykkere verden over. I de senere \u00e5r har virksomheden st\u00e5et i spidsen for udviklingen af efterbehandlingsl\u00f8sninger til digitale printere, og i dag anses virksomheden for at v\u00e6re markedsleder p\u00e5 dette omr\u00e5de. Med 25 britiske ingeni\u00f8rer og teknisk supportpersonale har vi flere serviceteknikere i marken end nogen anden leverand\u00f8r af efterbehandling i landet. Vi har reservedele for 2 mio. pund p\u00e5 hovedkontoret i Addlestone (17.000 enheder). Vi har ogs\u00e5 en succesfuld l\u00e6rlingeordning til uddannelse af den n\u00e6ste generation af ingeni\u00f8rer i den grafiske industri.<\/p>\n<h2>Solopress og Duplo<\/h2>\n<p>Solopress valgte at investere i en Duplo System 5000 Bookletmaking-linje i for\u00e5ret 2011. Maskinen samler automatisk de trykte sider, inden den h\u00e6fter, folder og besk\u00e6rer kanterne for at producere en f\u00e6rdig bog. System 5000 er is\u00e6r relevant for virksomheder som Solopress, der producerer en r\u00e6kke forskellige applikationer i forskellige st\u00f8rrelser, p\u00e5 forskelligt papir og med forskellige trykmaskiner. Kernen i System 5000 er Duplo DC-10\/60 kollationeringst\u00e5rnet, som har et dobbelt bl\u00e6serindf\u00f8ringssystem, der g\u00f8r det muligt at h\u00e5ndtere et stort udvalg af forskellige papirtyper. N\u00e5r operat\u00f8ren har lagt t\u00e5rnene i, kan maskinen g\u00f8res klar til et nyt job p\u00e5 kun 30 sekunder. Finjusteringer af folde- og h\u00e6ftepositioner kan foretages inden for 0,1 mm. Tilsammen giver det en f\u00e6nomenal produktivitet. Solopress producerer brochurer af h\u00f8j kvalitet p\u00e5 deres System 5000, og virksomhedens kunder har v\u00e6ret meget tilfredse med deres brochurer.<\/p>\n<h2>Fremtiden for print<\/h2>\n<p>Print har udviklet sig dramatisk gennem \u00e5rene. F\u00f8r i tiden handlede det om store oplag, kunderne havde tonsvis af litteratur p\u00e5 lager, og man fik en eller to gigantiske ordrer om \u00e5ret. I dag handler print om sm\u00e5 oplag, personalisering, hurtig ekspedition og levering lige til tiden. Flere og flere cross media-kampagner bruger print til at drive kunder online ved hj\u00e6lp af teknologi som QR-koder og Augmented Reality. Som en synlig dynamisk og teknologicentreret organisation er Solopress godt forberedt p\u00e5 fremtiden. Virksomheden maksimerer allerede brugen af sociale medier og online marketing for at vinde og fastholde kunder. Bag kulisserne investerer Solopress konstant i de bedste maskiner til printproduktion p\u00e5 markedet for at kunne im\u00f8dekomme fremtidige udfordringer.
