Es kam zu erheblichen Engp\u00e4ssen und K\u00fcrzungen, steigender Arbeitslosigkeit und Abwanderung in andere kriegsbezogene Berufe. Unter den Druckern herrschte jedoch weitgehend eine patriotische Einstellung zum Krieg, und Tausende von M\u00e4nnern meldeten sich freiwillig. Unbequeme und t\u00fcckische Bedingungen und beengte R\u00e4umlichkeiten waren zu erwarten, ebenso wie das Drucken im Schlamm, bei jedem Wetter und unter Artilleriefeuer \u00fcber dem Kopf.<\/p>\n<p>Die Felddruckerei der Armee wurde offiziell 1915 von der British Expeditionary Force gegr\u00fcndet und bildete die Grundlage f\u00fcr den Army Printing and Stationery Service. In den Jahren 1916 und 1917 richtete er mehrere Lager in Europa ein. Diese hatten in Frankreich eine zerst\u00f6rte Druckerei entdeckt und sie f\u00fcr den Druck einer Divisionszeitschrift in Auftrag gegeben. Die Druckpressen wurden f\u00fcr Rekrutierungszwecke genutzt, und die Wirkung dieser ber\u00fchmten <a title=\"solopress g\u00fcnstiger Plakatdruck\" href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/de\/poster\/\">Poster<\/a> sind ein Zeugnis f\u00fcr die Macht der Werbung. Die Drucker wurden bei ihrer Heimkehr von der Front herzlich empfangen, und ihre Beitr\u00e4ge wurden bei milit\u00e4rischen und zivilen Veranstaltungen gew\u00fcrdigt. Leider kehrten viele nicht mehr zur\u00fcck, aber ihre Kinder wurden von Organisationen in Gro\u00dfbritannien unterst\u00fctzt. Das British Army Field Printing ist derzeit bei der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mod.uk\/who-we-are\/corps-regiments-and-units\/corps-of-royal-engineers\/42-engineer-regiment-geographic\/\">42 Pionier-Regiment<\/a> aus den Denison Barracks in Berkshire.
