Tambi\u00e9n cre\u00f3 la escuela de dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico de la London School of Printing (actual <a title=\"L\u00edder mundial en formaci\u00f3n en dise\u00f1o y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.ac.uk\/colleges\/london-college-of-communication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Escuela Superior de Comunicaci\u00f3n de Londres<\/a>). Su colecci\u00f3n contiene ejemplos de sus carteles y obras publicadas para organizaciones como Guinness, London Transport y General Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>Con motivo del centenario del nacimiento de este influyente dise\u00f1ador gr\u00e1fico, una nueva exposici\u00f3n en el London College of Communication (del 11 al 29 de enero de 2014) celebrar\u00e1 la enorme contribuci\u00f3n que Tom Eckersley hizo al dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico y a la ense\u00f1anza del dise\u00f1o en Gran Breta\u00f1a durante seis d\u00e9cadas como profesional, profesor y maestro irrefutable del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/es\/carteles\/\">impresi\u00f3n de carteles<\/a> dise\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>La exposici\u00f3n presenta 40 carteles seleccionados del archivo Eckersley de la Universidad de las Artes de Londres, conservado en el London College of Communication (LCC), donde Eckersley cre\u00f3 en 1954 el primer curso universitario de dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico del Reino Unido, en el entonces London College of Printing (LCP). En la exposici\u00f3n se expondr\u00e1n dise\u00f1os de Eckersley desde la d\u00e9cada de 1940 hasta la de 1980.<\/p>\n<p>\"En ning\u00fan lugar se siente el legado de Tom Eckersley con m\u00e1s intensidad que en el LCC, donde la ense\u00f1anza y la investigaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico tienen sus ra\u00edces en el primer curso de licenciatura que \u00e9l estableci\u00f3 en 1954\", afirma el profesor Lawrence Zeegen, decano de la Escuela de Dise\u00f1o del London College of Communication. \"A medida que el dise\u00f1o y los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n del siglo XXI avanzan a toda velocidad, es cada vez m\u00e1s importante encontrar un momento para detenerse y reflexionar sobre el pasado de la disciplina, en medio del aluvi\u00f3n de mensajes visuales multidisciplinares, multiplataforma y multicapa.
