En general, se compone de 45% de residuos de aserradero, 21% de troncos y virutas y 34% de papel usado reciclado. En t\u00e9rminos de materias primas, se trata sin duda de una de las m\u00e1s abundantes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30792\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pulp3.jpg\" alt=\"Pasta de papel\" width=\"600\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Historia<\/h2>\n<p>En 13<sup>th<\/sup> En la Europa del siglo XIX, el papel se fabricaba con fibras de algod\u00f3n y lino. La invenci\u00f3n de la rueca hizo bajar dr\u00e1sticamente los precios de la producci\u00f3n al aumentar la oferta de trapos. As\u00ed se abarat\u00f3 el papel y se produjo un gran salto en los primeros avances de la imprenta. La madera no se utiliz\u00f3 en el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n de pasta hasta mediados del siglo XIX, cuando el precio del papel hab\u00eda subido. Se desarrollaron procesos qu\u00edmicos para separar la madera, que en 1900 se convirtieron en el principal m\u00e9todo de separaci\u00f3n de las fibras de madera.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30791\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pulp2.jpg\" alt=\"Pasta de papel\" width=\"600\" height=\"250\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>El proceso<\/h2>\n<p>La pasta qu\u00edmica se fabrica combinando astillas de madera y productos qu\u00edmicos en digestores para descomponer y unir las fibras. Es un error com\u00fan creer que el papel de pasta es un material blanquecino debido a su naturaleza reciclada, aunque se somete a una limpieza exhaustiva antes de ser blanqueado (con un producto qu\u00edmico respetuoso con el medio ambiente y sin cloro, como el per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno). La cartulina no est\u00e1 estucada, por lo que la impresi\u00f3n final suele tener un aspecto m\u00e1s apagado que cuando se imprime en materiales estucados como el brillo o la seda. La cartulina se marca con facilidad porque no est\u00e1 recubierta. No es raro que la tinta se transfiera de una zona oscura de la impresi\u00f3n a otra m\u00e1s
