Pues no.<\/p>\n<p>Por desgracia, hay muchos mitos en torno al mundo de la impresi\u00f3n, el papel y los envases de papel. A veces se piensa que imprimir significa deforestar. O que las alternativas digitales no producen ning\u00fan efecto perjudicial. En realidad, el panorama no es ni mucho menos tan sencillo. De hecho, hay pruebas contundentes que demuestran lo contrario...<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Restablecer el equilibrio<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En 2008, un grupo de profesionales de la cadena de suministro de las comunicaciones gr\u00e1ficas se reuni\u00f3 para crear un foro que no s\u00f3lo promoviera las pr\u00e1cticas medioambientales, sino que tambi\u00e9n diera voz para contar la verdadera historia de lo lejos que ha llegado la industria en la reducci\u00f3n de su impacto en el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/twosidesheader.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71209\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/twosidesheader.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"454\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El resultado fue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twosides.info\/\">Dos caras<\/a>un grupo sin \u00e1nimo de lucro capaz de investigar, educar y comunicar sobre los problemas ecol\u00f3gicos del papel y la impresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a su labor de investigaci\u00f3n y relaciones p\u00fablicas, Two Sides ha podido contar una historia muy diferente sobre la responsabilidad medioambiental en la industria de la comunicaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica, desde la silvicultura hasta la entrega.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Dos caras de la historia...<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Un mito preocupante sobre la producci\u00f3n de papel es que es una de las principales causas de deforestaci\u00f3n y que, como consecuencia, se est\u00e1n destruyendo los bosques europeos. No es cierto, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twosides.info\/european-forests\/\">seg\u00fan Two Sides<\/a>Entre 2005 y 2020, los bosques europeos crecieron en una superficie equivalente a 1.500 campos de f\u00fatbol al d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Euro-Forests.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71203\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Euro-Forests.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Otro concepto err\u00f3neo es que la producci\u00f3n de papel produce una gran huella de carbono. En realidad, esta industria es una de las que menos gases de efecto invernadero emite, y consigui\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twosides.info\/renewable-energy\/\">reducir las emisiones en una cuarta parte<\/a> en los doce a\u00f1os anteriores a 2017.<\/p>\n<p>A la inversa, existe la idea popular de que la comunicaci\u00f3n digital y el almacenamiento de datos son las alternativas ecol\u00f3gicas definitivas a la impresi\u00f3n. Esto tampoco est\u00e1 tan claro.
