Ha inoltre istituito la scuola di design grafico presso la London School of Printing (ora London School of Printing). <a title=\"Leader mondiale nell&#039;educazione al design e ai media\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.ac.uk\/colleges\/london-college-of-communication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Collegio di Comunicazione di Londra<\/a>). La sua collezione contiene esempi di manifesti e lavori pubblicati per organizzazioni come Guinness, London Transport e General Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>In occasione del centenario della nascita di questo influente graphic designer, una nuova mostra al London College of Communication (11 - 29 gennaio 2014) celebrer\u00e0 l'enorme contributo che Tom Eckersley ha dato al graphic design e all'educazione al design in Gran Bretagna nel corso di sei decenni, come professionista, insegnante e maestro inconfutabile del design. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/it\/manifesti\/\">stampa di poster<\/a> design.<\/p>\n<p>La mostra presenta 40 manifesti selezionati dall'archivio Eckersley della University of the Arts London, ospitato presso il London College of Communication (LCC), dove Eckersley istitu\u00ec nel 1954 il primo corso di grafica universitaria del Regno Unito, presso l'allora London College of Printing (LCP). I disegni di Eckersley dagli anni '40 agli anni '80 saranno esposti alla mostra.<\/p>\n<p>\"L'eredit\u00e0 di Tom Eckersley \u00e8 pi\u00f9 sentita che al LCC, dove l'insegnamento e la ricerca in graphic design affondano le radici nel primo corso di laurea da lui istituito nel 1954\", afferma il professor Lawrence Zeegen, preside della School of Design del London College of Communication. \"Mentre il design della comunicazione e i media del XXI secolo corrono sempre pi\u00f9 avanti, \u00e8 sempre pi\u00f9 importante trovare un momento per fermarsi a riflettere sul passato della Force.<\/li>\n<li>Nel 1948 \u00e8 stato insignito dell'Ordine dell'Impero Britannico (OBE) per i suoi servizi alla cartellonistica.<\/li>\n<li>Tom Eckersley \u00e8 stato tra i primi designer britannici ad aderire all'Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).<\/li>\n<li>Lui<b> <\/b>ha ricoperto il ruolo di responsabile del design grafico presso il LCP\/LCC fino al 1977.<\/li>\n<li>Anche i
