Sinds 1995 is het Pokemon-universum uitgebreid en ge\u00ebvolueerd in de videospellen, kaarten en anime.\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Een aspect dat we de laatste tijd niet kunnen negeren, is de veranderende vorm van Pikachu. Letterlijk. Vanaf het begin is de schattige muis-Pokemon het gezicht van de serie geweest; als mensen die de spellen niet speelden aan \"Pokemon\" dachten, was het zijn kleine gele zelf waar ze aan dachten. Maar die zelf is sinds 1995 aanzienlijk veranderd. Als we de tijdlijn van Pokemon in retrospect bekijken, zijn hier een paar van de meer plausibele punten in de <strong>Magere Pikachu Theorie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24427\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/pikachu_epic_pose_by_dhencod-d55ji0n.png\" alt=\"Mollige Pikachu poseert op epische wijze ter verdediging van de magere Pikachu-theorie\" width=\"500\" height=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Is zijn ketchup weggehaald?<\/h2>\n<p>Alle Pokemon-fans weten dat Pikachu dol is op ketchup en nogal boos wordt als zijn lekkernij wordt weggehaald. E\u00e9n suggestie is dat Pikachu's ketchupinname is verminderd of helemaal is verdwenen - en zonder de suikerhoudende rode specerij is hij waarschijnlijk wat extra gewicht kwijtgeraakt. Deze theorie wordt bevestigd door Misty's opmerking aan Ash in aflevering 273 van de anime, \"laat Pikachu niet te veel eten!\".<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24430\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/maxresdefault.jpg\" alt=\"de magere pikachu theorie misschien is zijn ketchup hem afgenomen\" width=\"500\" height=\"376\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Is het al het lopen?<\/h2>\n<p>Vanaf dag \u00e9\u00e9n weten we dat Pikachu niet graag in zijn Pokeball zit. Hij loopt liever naast Ash en zijn andere metgezellen, af en toe op een schouder of hoofd. Het lijkt me het meest aannemelijk dat dit heeft bijgedragen aan zijn vermagering; al die kilometers door Kanto en daarbuiten hebben hem strakker gemaakt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24435\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/pokemon-pokemon-ash-and-pikachu-and-ash-358008844.jpg\" alt=\"heeft pikachu die met ash loopt bijgedragen aan de magere pikachu theorie\" width=\"500\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In dezelfde geest zou de Pokewalker ook de schuldige kunnen zijn. De Pokewalker, deels stappenteller, deels Tamagotchi, was een uitbreiding voor de Pokemon-spellen Heart Gold en Soul Silver en werd uitgebracht om kinderen aan te moedigen actiever te worden. Het beste van alles was dat ze tegelijkertijd hun Pokemon van energie konden voorzien.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24438\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/5427586855_93f3f5ce96.jpg\" alt=\"pokewalker bijdrage aan pikachu theorie\" width=\"500\" height=\"380\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Is het een breder Nintendo-complot?<\/h2>\n<p>In het verleden werd Pokemon-marketing uitgebreid met artikelen als deze; de suikerrijke, vette \"ontbijt\"-traktatie Pop Tarts. Pop Tarts zijn direct gericht op jonge fans die van zoetigheid houden en maken waarschijnlijk geen deel uit van de voedzame start van een Pokemon Trainer. Tegenwoordig kiest Nintendo voor de gezondere weg met producten als de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.co.uk\/Games\/Wii\/Wii-Fit-283894.html\">Wii Fit<\/a> en \"actieve\" spellen die zijn ontworpen om spelers in beweging te krijgen. Misschien is het magere uiterlijk van Pikachu een subtiele knipoog hiernaar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/tumblr_lr3ktxF6O21qab1jso1_500.png\" alt=\"pokemon pop taartjes\" width=\"500\" height=\"460\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Een vergelijking naast elkaar<\/h2>\n<p>Hier zien we een vergelijking van Pikachu van \"vroeger\" met zijn moderne uiterlijk. Het lijdt geen twijfel dat hij in de loop der jaren magerder is geworden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-24440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/pikachuthenandnow_zps2a065162.jpg\" alt=\"Pikachu toen en nu een vergelijking in de magere Pikachu-theorie\" width=\"500\" height=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Zelfs de sprite van de videogame Pikachu heeft een soortgelijke make-over gehad. Het lijdt geen twijfel dat de originele roly-poly Pikachu de epische aaibaarheidsfactor bezit; veel fans hebben opgemerkt dat hij niet meer zo aaibaar is als vroeger en te stoer in de gameplay.
