Alle Duplo-apparatuur wordt geproduceerd door Duplo Corporation in Japan. Duplo International Ltd. is een onafhankelijk Brits familiebedrijf. Vanuit ons kantoor in Surrey distribueren wij al bijna 30 jaar Duplo afwerkingsapparatuur in heel Europa, Afrika en het Midden-Oosten. In totaal leveren we aan 108 landen met behulp van een of twee aangestelde agenten in elk land. We hebben ook dochterondernemingen in Frankrijk en Polen. Ongeveer tweederde van onze omzet wordt ge\u00ebxporteerd en de resterende driekwart wordt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk verkocht.<\/p>\n<h2>Duplo Producten<\/h2>\n<p>Duplo producten zijn ontworpen en gebouwd volgens het concept van wat wij Automated Precision noemen. Dit betekent letterlijk dat we streven naar betrouwbare, nauwkeurige, flexibele en zeer productieve oplossingen voor de uitdagingen van de hedendaagse drukkerijen. De apparatuur die we verkopen wordt geproduceerd in ISO 9001 en 14001 gecertificeerde fabrieken, waardoor onze klanten verzekerd zijn van internationale kwaliteitscontrolestandaarden en milieuvriendelijkheid. Historisch gezien stond Duplo bekend om zijn papiervulmachines en boekjesmakers en deze zijn nog steeds een bestseller onder lithodrukkers over de hele wereld. In de afgelopen jaren heeft het bedrijf het voortouw genomen in de ontwikkeling van afwerkingsoplossingen voor digitale drukkers en vandaag de dag wordt het bedrijf alom beschouwd als marktleider op dit gebied. Met 25 ingenieurs en technisch ondersteunend personeel in het Verenigd Koninkrijk hebben we meer buitendienstmedewerkers dan welke andere leverancier van afwerkingssystemen in het land dan ook. We hebben \u00a32 miljoen aan reserveonderdelen in ons hoofdkantoor in Addlestone (17.000 eenheden). We hebben ook een succesvol stageprogramma voor het opleiden van de volgende generatie ingenieurs in de grafische industrie.<\/p>\n<h2>Solopress en Duplo<\/h2>\n<p>Solopress koos ervoor om in het voorjaar van 2011 te investeren in een Duplo System 5000 boekdruklijn. De machine verzamelt de geprinte pagina's automatisch en naait, vouwt en snijdt de randen bij om een afgewerkt boek te produceren. Het System 5000 is vooral relevant voor bedrijven zoals Solopress die een reeks verschillende toepassingen produceren, met verschillende formaten, op verschillende papiersoorten en met verschillende print engines. Het hart van het Systeem 5000 wordt gevormd door de Duplo DC-10\/60 collator toren die is uitgerust met een invoersysteem met dubbele ventilator waardoor het een enorme reeks verschillende papiersoorten kan verwerken. Nadat de operator de torens heeft geladen, kan de machine in slechts 30 seconden gereed worden gemaakt voor een volgende opdracht. De vouw- en nietposities kunnen tot op 0,1 mm nauwkeurig worden ingesteld. De combinatie van doorlooptijd en nauwkeurigheid zorgt voor een fenomenale productiviteit. Solopress produceert brochures van topkwaliteit met hun System 5000 en de klanten van het bedrijf zijn erg blij met hun brochures.<\/p>\n<h2>De toekomst van drukwerk<\/h2>\n<p>Drukwerk heeft in de loop der jaren een enorme ontwikkeling doorgemaakt. Vroeger draaide alles om enorme productieseries, klanten hielden tonnen literatuur op voorraad en je kreeg \u00e9\u00e9n of twee gigantische orders per jaar. Vandaag de dag draait drukwerk om kleine oplages, personalisatie, snelle doorlooptijden en just-in-time levering. Steeds meer crossmediale campagnes gebruiken drukwerk om klanten online te krijgen via technologie zoals QR-codes en Augmented Reality. Als zichtbaar dynamische en technologiegerichte organisatie is Solopress goed voorbereid op de toekomst. Het bedrijf maakt nu al maximaal gebruik van sociale media en online marketing om klanten te winnen en te behouden. Achter de schermen investeert Solopress voortdurend in de beste printproductiemachines op de markt om toekomstige uitdagingen aan te kunnen.
