Elke kunstenaar kreeg de uitdaging om de eenvoudige beermat te transformeren in een personage - met verrassende en verrukkelijke resultaten!<\/p>\n<p>De bescheiden onderzetter wordt vaak gebruikt als ad-hoc schetsblok in de kroeg, vooral tijdens een verhitte uitwisseling van idee\u00ebn en meningen. In de loop der jaren hebben ze duizenden ontwerpers en zakenmensen voorzien van vele door alcohol gevoede inspiratiemomenten. Het is dan ook niet meer dan logisch dat een groep getalenteerde kunstenaars heeft besloten iets terug te doen voor dit klassieke stuk karton.<\/p>\n<h2>Varen op een droom<\/h2>\n<p>\"De resultaten zijn veel beter dan we hadden kunnen hopen\", zegt Lisa Hassell, de oprichter en creatief directeur van Inkygoodness, in haar recente interview met <a title=\"http:\/\/www.designweek.co.uk\/whats-on\/beermat-characters\/3036346.article\" href=\"https:\/\/www.designweek.co.uk\/issues\/april-2013\/beermat-characters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Design Week<\/a>. \"Het talent, de vaardigheid en de pure verbeeldingskracht waarmee het kunstwerk is gemaakt, is ongelooflijk.\"<\/p>\n<p>Deelnemende kunstenaars aan de komende Beermat Characters tentoonstelling zijn onder andere:<\/p>\n<h3>David Shillinglaw<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7869\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/david-shillinglaw-beermat-characters.jpg\" alt=\"David Shillinglaw beermatekens\" width=\"600\" height=\"594\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.davidshillinglaw.co.uk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.davidshillinglaw.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Shillinglaw's<\/a> Het werk van Beergoggles verkent de verschillende toestanden van alcoholische roes. Na residenties in Japan en Zuid-Afrika woont en werkt David nu in een oud omgebouwd pakhuis in Londen.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Ge\u00efnspireerd door zijn eigen gedachten en idee\u00ebn over de wereld, zit Davids werk vol met vormen, kleur, sterke lijnen en barstensvol typografische boodschappen.\"<\/em><br \/>\n-Inkygoodness<\/p>\n<h3>El Tobe<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7878\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/el-tobe-beermat-characters.jpg\" alt=\"El Tobe beermat personages\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We hebben het allemaal wel eens meegemaakt. Te veel bier en de kamer begint te draaien. Dat wazige, pint-morsende gevoel was de inspiratie achter <a title=\"http:\/\/eltobe.com\" href=\"http:\/\/eltobe.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Tobe's<\/a> kwartet Boozers Beermat Personages. \"Gelabeld als de gremlins van de pubwereld, komen ze alleen tevoorschijn als je er \u00e9\u00e9n te veel op hebt,\" grapt El Tobe. \"Als je ze kunt zien, is het waarschijnlijk tijd om naar huis te gaan!\"<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Overdag werkt El Tobe als grafisch ontwerper bij bureau 'dito' en 's nachts maakt hij zijn duister komische illustraties.\"<\/em><br \/>\n-Inkygoodness<\/p>\n<h3>Hattie Stewart<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7883\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/hattie-stewart-beermat-characters.jpg\" alt=\"Hattie Stewart beermatekens\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Deze Hello Cheeky bierviltjes zijn volledig gemaakt met fluorescerende Posca markeerstiften. <a title=\"http:\/\/hattiestewart.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hattiestewart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hattie Stewart's<\/a> heldere en kleurrijke bijdrage aan het ingenieuze kunstexperiment van Inkygoodness. Hattie's klanten zijn onder andere Adidas, Diesel en Urban Outfitters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\"Oogverblindend, surrealistisch en meer dan een beetje brutaal, Hattie is beroemd om haar eigenzinnige, licht sinistere illustraties.\"<\/em><br \/>\n-Inkygoodness<\/p>\n<h3>Meneer de Rund<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7886\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/mr-the-beef-beermat-character.jpg\" alt=\"Mr de Beef beermat karakter\" width=\"560\" height=\"560\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr the Beef is een kunstenaar en illustrator uit Nottingham. Zijn Bird (Of Peace), Brewdog en Teen Wolf Beermat Characters zullen te zien zijn op de tentoonstelling.<\/p>\n<p><em>\"Mr the Beef laat zich inspireren door straatkunst, design uit het midden van de vorige eeuw, afgeluisterde gesprekken, brutalistische architectuur en een jeugd in de jaren 80. Beermat Characters bordspel ontwikkeld. Elk van de zes karakters in dit spel vertegenwoordigt een typische emotie die iemand voelt als hij dronken is: The Beast, The Sleeper, The Overjoyed, The Nutcase, The Emo en The Addict.
