Criou tamb\u00e9m a escola de design gr\u00e1fico na London School of Printing (atualmente a <a title=\"L\u00edder mundial no ensino do design e dos media\" href=\"https:\/\/www.arts.ac.uk\/colleges\/london-college-of-communication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">London College of Communication<\/a>). A sua cole\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00e9m exemplos dos seus cartazes e trabalhos publicados para organiza\u00e7\u00f5es como a Guinness, a London Transport e a General Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>Assinalando o centen\u00e1rio do nascimento deste influente designer gr\u00e1fico, uma nova exposi\u00e7\u00e3o no London College of Communication (11 a 29 de janeiro de 2014) ir\u00e1 celebrar o enorme contributo de Tom Eckersley para o design gr\u00e1fico e para o ensino do design na Gr\u00e3-Bretanha ao longo de seis d\u00e9cadas, enquanto praticante, professor e mestre irrefut\u00e1vel de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/pt-pt\/cartazes\/\">impress\u00e3o de cartazes<\/a> conce\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o apresenta 40 cartazes seleccionados do arquivo Eckersley da Universidade de Artes de Londres, alojado no London College of Communication (LCC), onde Eckersley criou o primeiro curso de licenciatura em design gr\u00e1fico do Reino Unido em 1954, no ent\u00e3o London College of Printing (LCP). Os desenhos de Eckersley desde a d\u00e9cada de 1940 at\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9cada de 1980 estar\u00e3o expostos na exposi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>\"Em nenhum outro lugar o legado de Tom Eckersley \u00e9 mais sentido do que no LCC, onde o ensino e a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o do design gr\u00e1fico est\u00e3o enraizados no primeiro curso de licenciatura que ele criou em 1954\", afirma o Professor Lawrence Zeegen, diretor da Escola de Design do London College of Communication. \"\u00c0 medida que o design e os meios de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o do s\u00e9culo XXI avan\u00e7am cada vez mais, \u00e9 cada vez
