De um modo geral, \u00e9 constitu\u00edda por 45% de res\u00edduos de serra\u00e7\u00e3o, 21% de toros e aparas e 34% de res\u00edduos de papel reciclado. Foram desenvolvidos processos qu\u00edmicos para separar a madeira que, em 1900, se tornaram o principal m\u00e9todo de separa\u00e7\u00e3o das fibras de madeira.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30791\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pulp2.jpg\" alt=\"Pasta de papel\" width=\"600\" height=\"250\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>O processo<\/h2>\n<p>A pasta qu\u00edmica \u00e9 produzida atrav\u00e9s da combina\u00e7\u00e3o de aparas de madeira e produtos qu\u00edmicos em digestores para quebrar e permitir que as fibras se unam. \u00c9 um equ\u00edvoco comum pensar que a pasta de papel \u00e9 um material esbranqui\u00e7ado devido \u00e0 sua natureza reciclada, embora passe por uma limpeza extensiva antes de ser branqueada (com um produto qu\u00edmico amigo do ambiente e sem cloro, como o per\u00f3xido de hidrog\u00e9nio). O cart\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 revestido, por isso, tenha em aten\u00e7\u00e3o que a impress\u00e3o final tem frequentemente um aspeto mais ba\u00e7o do que quando \u00e9 impressa em materiais revestidos, como o brilho e a seda. O cart\u00e3o fica marcado muito facilmente devido ao facto de n\u00e3o ser revestido. N\u00e3o \u00e9 invulgar a transfer\u00eancia de tinta de uma \u00e1rea escura da impress\u00e3o para uma \u00e1rea mais
