Quando o popular\u00edssimo Breaking Bad<\/a><\/em> Quando a s\u00e9rie chegou ao fim em 2013, era evidente que ainda havia muitas hist\u00f3rias para contar. No entanto, de todas as personagens que mereciam a sua pr\u00f3pria s\u00e9rie derivada, o advogado obscuro Saul Goodman talvez n\u00e3o fosse a escolha \u00f3bvia.<\/p>\n

Passados cinco anos, a decis\u00e3o foi inspirada, com a s\u00e9rie prequela Better Call Saul<\/a><\/em> que se revelou um \u00eaxito em todo o mundo ao revelar lentamente o passado de Goodman antes de Breaking Bad, juntamente com outras personagens centrais, incluindo Mike Ehrmantraut e Gus Fring.<\/p>\n

Better Call Saul foi escolhido pela Netflix no Reino Unido, com o primeiro epis\u00f3dio a ser transmitido em fevereiro de 2015. Os profissionais de marketing do gigante do streaming juntaram as suas cabe\u00e7as e criaram uma campanha de marketing soberba, distribuindo milhares de tapetes de cerveja impressos<\/a> em pubs e bares de todo o Reino Unido.<\/p>\n

Os tapetes de cerveja foram concebidos de forma a parecerem realistas, quase como se Goodman os tivesse dado ele pr\u00f3prio ao bar ou, mais provavelmente, os tivesse colocado nas mesas quando o propriet\u00e1rio n\u00e3o estava a olhar. A mensagem \"BOOZE GOT YOU IN TROUBLE AGAIN?\" foi bem direccionada para as pessoas que bebem num bar, com a imagem de Goodman a apontar para a pessoa que l\u00ea o tapete a fazer lembrar o marketing que a personagem costumava produzir em Breaking Bad.<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o se contentando em ficar por aqui, o designer acrescentou tamb\u00e9m uma forma deliberadamente amadora com um n\u00famero de telefone para o qual ligar \"para todas as suas necessidades legais\". Para quem ficasse suficientemente intrigado para ligar para o n\u00famero, seria presenteado com uma mensagem gravada do ator Bob Odenkirk<\/a> que faz de Goodman, dizendo-lhes para verem o programa - genial! O n\u00famero foi entretanto reatribu\u00eddo a uma empresa diferente, por isso n\u00e3o tente agora, pois ficar\u00e1 desapontado e certamente n\u00e3o obter\u00e1 qualquer ajuda legal do pr\u00f3prio homem.<\/p>\n

Apesar desta tentativa bem sucedida de autenticidade, continua a ser \u00f3bvio que o objetivo do tapete de cerveja era promover a s\u00e9rie. O log\u00f3tipo da Netflix no topo e o log\u00f3tipo de Better Call Saul no centro s\u00e3o ambos proeminentes, com o apelo \u00e0 a\u00e7\u00e3o \"VER NOVOS EPIS\u00d3DIOS SEMANALMENTE\" a destacar-se na forma como a arte foi concebida.<\/p>\n

Esta n\u00e3o foi a \u00fanica vez que este tipo de estrat\u00e9gia foi utilizado para publicitar o espet\u00e1culo. De volta a Albuquerque, Novo M\u00e9xico, onde se passa o espet\u00e1culo, foi colocado um painel publicit\u00e1rio em 2014<\/a> para James M. McGill - o nome original de Goodman. Foi novamente inclu\u00eddo um n\u00famero de telefone, com um \u00e1udio pr\u00e9-gravado de Odenkirk a funcionar como mensagem de correio de voz.<\/p>\n
