Eis o desenrolar da nossa conversa:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Pode descrever o processo de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de um t\u00edtulo de espet\u00e1culo \u00fanico e cativante e de uma descri\u00e7\u00e3o convincente do espet\u00e1culo?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Todos os anos, em janeiro, muito antes de pensar no Fringe, recebo um e-mail a dizer que est\u00e1 na altura de enviar o seu espet\u00e1culo para o Fringe. Por isso, todos os anos em janeiro, passo-me. \"O que \u00e9 que vou fazer este ano?!\" Depois de dias assim, chego a um t\u00edtulo suficientemente vago para me poder transformar em qualquer coisa. Este ano \u00e9: \"O Amor \u00e9 uma Mentira\". Embora possa parecer que o meu espet\u00e1culo \u00e9 sobre como estou cansado do amor em todas as suas formas, tamb\u00e9m pode ser sobre como o membro fundador dos Beach Boys, Mike Love, era um mentiroso patol\u00f3gico. (N\u00e3o fa\u00e7o ideia se ele era um mentiroso. Por favor, n\u00e3o me processe, Sr. Love). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As descri\u00e7\u00f5es dos espect\u00e1culos s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis. \u00c9 f\u00e1cil para os clientes ficarem sobrecarregados ao folhear o programa Fringe ou a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o Fringe, por isso \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio destacar-se. Citar cr\u00edticas ajuda muito a eliminar o ru\u00eddo, mas tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 preciso ter uma forma engra\u00e7ada e concisa de descrever o espet\u00e1culo. Quando sei do que se trata o meu espet\u00e1culo, crio uma premissa curta e cheia de piadas. Tento encontrar o ponto de equil\u00edbrio entre o que \u00e9 relacion\u00e1vel e o que \u00e9 \u00fanico\".<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Qual foi a efic\u00e1cia da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais impressos (como panfletos ou cartazes) para atrair o p\u00fablico? Pode partilhar algumas estrat\u00e9gias espec\u00edficas que utilizou para distribuir estes materiais impressos?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1479218348.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-74305\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1479218348.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"574\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Os panfletos e os cartazes s\u00e3o, de certa forma, essenciais e in\u00fateis ao mesmo tempo. As pessoas v\u00eaem o cartaz ou o panfleto e pensam: \"Tem bom aspeto\", e v\u00e3o ao espet\u00e1culo. A maioria das pessoas tamb\u00e9m me ignora quando fa\u00e7o um panfleto; das pessoas que pegam num panfleto, a maioria simplesmente deita-o fora. E, no entanto, a maioria das pessoas nos meus espect\u00e1culos est\u00e3o l\u00e1 porque eu as panfletei. Nada disto faz sentido, mas \u00e9 assim que funciona. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coloco cartazes, com a ajuda dos volunt\u00e1rios do Free Festival, pela cidade e nos locais de espet\u00e1culo dias antes do Fringe. Depois, panfleto o m\u00e1ximo que posso todos os dias. Esta \u00e9 a parte mais dif\u00edcil do festival: as horas passadas a vender os meus produtos a um p\u00fablico maioritariamente desinteressado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Lembrar que n\u00e3o \u00e9 pessoal \u00e9 fundamental; h\u00e1 muita coisa a acontecer no Fringe e nem toda a gente quer ver o meu espet\u00e1culo. O meu maior sucesso tem sido a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de panfletos uma hora antes do meu espet\u00e1culo e tamb\u00e9m a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de panfletos de sa\u00edda de espect\u00e1culos semelhantes. \u00c9 importante saber quem \u00e9 o nosso p\u00fablico e direccionarmo-nos para ele\".<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Qual \u00e9 o papel dos elementos visuais e gr\u00e1ficos apelativos na promo\u00e7\u00e3o do seu espet\u00e1culo?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"\u00c9 preciso ter um Poster e um Flyer com bom aspeto. Isso \u00e9 tudo verdade, os apostadores que correm o risco t\u00eam de sair. Um ano, o meu cartaz era eu numa \u00e1rvore. Muitas pessoas vieram s\u00f3 por causa dessa imagem. Os cartazes com estrelas de cr\u00edticas tamb\u00e9m se destacam. As pessoas querem saber que o seu tempo vai ser bem empregue e as estrelas e os louros transmitem essa mensagem. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pagar a um designer gr\u00e1fico especializado tamb\u00e9m ajuda neste aspeto; os cartazes profissionais indicam que \u00e9 bem sucedido e, se \u00e9 bem sucedido, deve ser engra\u00e7ado\".<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Pode partilhar uma hist\u00f3ria em que uma estrat\u00e9gia promocional inesperada funcionou a seu favor?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1507993715.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-74306\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1507993715.jpg\" alt=\"Folhetos no Edinburgh Fringe Festival\" width=\"900\" height=\"601\" \/><\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Como californiano, o ver\u00e3o escoc\u00eas \u00e9 muito frio para mim, por isso ando muitas vezes a voar com um casaco de abrigo. Uso mais camadas do que Edmund Hillary usou para escalar o Evereste. A vantagem do meu traje inuit \u00e9 que tenho muitos bolsos para esconder os meus Flyers. Normalmente, s\u00f3 tenho um de cada vez. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uma vez, um tipo levou um Flyer, pensando que era um ato de miseric\u00f3rdia levar o meu \u00faltimo. Foi um nobre cavaleiro que me libertou da tirania do Flyer, quando na verdade eu tinha dezenas de outros nos meus bolsos. Desde ent\u00e3o, aproveito-me regularmente da compaix\u00e3o das pessoas e deixo-as pensar que est\u00e3o a acabar com a minha mis\u00e9ria, para depois voltar atr\u00e1s e tirar outra.\"<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Como \u00e9 que utilizou as redes sociais e as plataformas em linha (como podcasts, YouTube, blogues) para aumentar a visibilidade do seu programa?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"A Internet \u00e9, irritantemente, t\u00e3o importante. As pessoas planeiam o Fringe em torno de espect\u00e1culos de artistas que viram nas redes sociais ou que ouviram em podcasts. Eu estou no Twitter, no Instagram e no YouTube mas, no fundo, n\u00e3o fui feito para esta era moderna. \u00c9 por isso que estou a fazer um post num blogue. Leva-me de volta aos dias do tumblr e da liga\u00e7\u00e3o telef\u00f3nica. At\u00e9 estou a escrever um romance! \u00c9 isso mesmo, aquela coisa que \u00e9 como um v\u00eddeo muito, muito longo do TikTok, mas em papel. Al\u00e9m disso, por favor, sigam-me em tudo\".<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Que conselho daria a um comediante que est\u00e1 a planear promover o seu espet\u00e1culo no Edinburgh Fringe pela primeira vez?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1480349939.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-74304\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solopress.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/shutterstock_1480349939.jpg\" alt=\"Multid\u00f5es no Edinburgh Fringe\" width=\"900\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"S\u00ea famoso.
