We\u2019re taking a look at how to use gradient tool in Photoshop. You\u2019ll learn to use Photoshop gradients to create stunning colour blend effects in your designs.<\/p>\n

  1. Select a shape in Photoshop<\/li>\n
  2. With a shape tool selected, go to the \u201cFill\u201d box in the selection bar at the top of the screen<\/li>\n
  3. In the drop-down window, click the gradient tab<\/li>\n
  4. In \u201cLayers\u201d on the right-hand side, double-click the layer thumbnail for your shape<\/li>\n
  5. This opens the settings box for the Gradient Tool<\/li>\n
  6. In \u201cType:\u201d choose from linear, radial or freeform gradients<\/li>\n
  7. Double click the circles at either end of the gradient bar to select the colours you wish to graduate between<\/li>\n
  8. Click within your shape to apply the gradient<\/li>\n
  9. Alternatively, draw a line with the gradient tool to define the length and angle of the gradient<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
