How important is print to coffee shops?

Jane Wickens, Head of Marketing at Solopress sums it up here;

“Print remains an invaluable tool for coffee shops, not just for marketing, but for creating an experience that customers can engage with. Whether it’s using eye-catching flyers to promote seasonal offers, printing loyalty cards to drive repeat business, or creating cosy menus that reflect a café’s unique personality, print provides both a practical and impactful way to connect with customers. At Solopress, we believe that when businesses combine the tactile nature of print with their digital presence, they create a lasting connection with their community.”

Methodology and sources:

We compiled a list of 22 coffee shops in London and 27 across the UK.

To identify the most popular coffee shops, we analysed TikTok and Instagram posts featuring the relevant shop hashtags, alongside Google search volumes from 2023 and 2024, comparing year-on-year trends to reveal the biggest rising stars.

Each metric was indexed to create a final ranking.

Data was collected 09/12/24.
