During The Silent Movie Experience one-man show, David Watts enlightens his audience in the making of a comedy silent movie. This knowledgeable aficionado provides all the answers to a bygone age of film-making, and invites his audience to participate in his wildly chaotic show.

A self-appointed professor of Silent Movie Ethno Musicology (SMEMY), David writes and performs his own music to accompany silent comedy classics – as he explains how comic geniuses such as Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd created their movies, what went on behind the scenes and, most importantly of all, what is the secret behind a good custard pie fight.

  1. is there a retro modern clash in todays leaflets? a lot of people like using florets and such but try to make it space age with the wording, font etc … and dont get me started on steam punk!!

  2. it’s all about the design and getting the message across – this is a perfect example of a brilliant marketing campaign!

  3. Eyecatching leaflets will always get my attention, there are so many on display, in shop windows and being handed out that they need something special to stand out. But I’m on the lookout as they’re a great way to find out whats on!
