Event Tank use Solopress gloss flyers to promote their Prohibition Night launch event in Liverpool…
Rebecca Lewandowski, an enigmatic 21-year-old entrepreneur and graduate, has hit the ground running with the start up of her new company called Event Tank. Having secured a first class honours degree at Liverpool John Moores University in Events Management, her ambition with Event Tank is to breathe new life into both corporate and private events by offering a dynamic and innovative service that is refreshing and inventive.
Rebecca has already embarked upon her first endeavour under the Event Tank banner – a 1920s themed Prohibition Night. This was a showcase event that not only signified the launch of Rebecca’s business, but also demonstrated her talent as she rolled back the years to recreate the infamous bygone era of glamour and decadence.
All That Jazz
The launch event kicked off last Friday (7th June) at 8.30pm at the PanAm Bar & Restaurant, situated within the heart of Liverpool’s Albert Dock. Guests relived the hedonistic era of illegal drinking dens, gambling and vice of the roaring Twenties, sipping on themed cocktails and moonshine whilst hedging their bets at the roulette and blackjack tables. They also had the chance to dance to the Lindy Hop and Black Bottom, or watch the professional Feet’s of Amazement dancers go through their paces to the evocative jazz sound of the Speakeasy Bootleg Band.
The Prohibition Night event was of great importance to Rebecca as it marked the beginning of her events business. Thanks to the help of Solopress, she was able to run a successful promotional campaign prior to launch night. Printed advertising was a key element of the promotion plan from the very beginning. Rebecca had come across Solopress whilst searching the Internet for print firms who could meet her requirements for excellent quality and speedy delivery.

“I needed to promote my launch event urgently and Solopress’ ambitious promise of free delivery caught my attention,” says Rebecca. She immediately ordered the company’s free printing sample pack and was impressed with the results.
“The quality of the flyers was unmatched by anybody else I had dealt with and Solopress kept to their word on the delivery deadline,” she adds. “I was also delighted with their customer service, they solved any issues I had in time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Solopress’ printing services.”
