Solopress Luxury Matt Laminated Finish Business Cards are printed full colour onto premium quality 400gsm extra thick card. We apply matt laminate to both sides for a super smooth finish and extra durability. Your business cards will not only look and feel great, they will last much longer too.
Our print quality is superb and we can turnaround these best selling Matt Laminated Business Cards within 24 hours of receiving your print ready artwork. They are perfect for when you’d like to incorporate any photos or images into the design of your business card.
We can print to one or both sides of your business card for the same price! All cards are trimmed to 85 x 55 mm (standard credit card size) unless specified otherwise. Please Note: If two sides are selected, your artwork should contain a design for both sides. Also, please provide crop marks around the artwork.

Can Matt Laminated Business Cards be written on?
Yes they can be written on, but its recommended that a permanet marker is used as other pens tend to smudge easily.
Can I split my 1000 business cards order into 2 names or 4 names?
Unfortunately not, you would need to order the individual cards per person, so 500 x 2 kinds or 250 x 4 kinds.
Does matt lamination effect Pantone colours?
Yes, the matt lamination process will darken the colours on your business cards. If you’re using Pantone colours, please don’t hesitate to ask our sales consultants for their expert advice.
Is lamination waterproof?
Lamination is a film that does not seal the edges of the sheets - therefore leaving them open to absorb water. No lamination is waterproof. The option for waterproofing would be encapsulation.
What is the difference between laminating and encapsulation?
Lamination is film applied to the stock after printing for extra durability, increasing the stock by 27microns. Encapsulation is a plastic film applied with an overhang to the finished product that encases the print inside - this can be applied in a few different thicknesses.
What is matt lamination?
Matt lamination is a coating applied to the cards after they have been printed. It is popular with many people because it makes the cards feel smooth to touch, and adds protection from every day wear.
Would Matt Laminated Business Cards be suitable to use as loyalty cards in my coffee shop?
We do not recommend using Matt Laminated cards as loyalty cards if they are to be stamped as the ink tends to take a while to dry so when your customer puts them in their purse or wallet they may smudge. The best cards to use as loyalty cards are Pulp.
