Solopress produces Election Flyers and Leaflets for campaigns across the UK, supporting both paid distribution and, where applicable, Royal Mail Candidate Mail. We prepare print to the required specifications and offer EL1-compliant banding and packing options where needed to help campaigns meet tight deadlines and avoid unnecessary delays.

Choosing the right distribution route

Not all election campaigns are eligible for Royal Mail Candidate Mail.

Royal Mail Candidate Mail is available only to candidates standing in:

  • UK Parliamentary General or by-elections
  • Scottish Parliament elections
  • Senedd (Welsh Parliament) elections

Candidates standing in most local elections do not qualify for Candidate Mail and should plan to organise their own distribution. This might include:

  • Solopress Door-to-Door Leaflet Distribution, offering targeted unaddressed delivery in selected areas
  • Paid Royal Mail addressed or unaddressed services

Royal Mail is the authority on Candidate Mail eligibility and requirements. Campaigns should always confirm eligibility directly with the Royal Mail.
