Backing-up

In printing terms, backing-up refers to the process of printing on the reverse side of a printed sheet.

This technique can be applied to single sheets (sheet-fed printing) or rolls of paper (web printing).

Accurate backing-up is crucial for maintaining registration, which ensures that the print on both sides of the sheet aligns correctly.

This process is essential in the production of double-sided printed materials, such as Books, Brochures, or Leaflets.
