Imposition

Imposition is a critical step in the prepress printing process, involving the arrangement of pages or images on a printer's sheet to minimise waste and maximise printing efficiency.

This process ensures that, after the print sheet is folded, cut, and bound, the pages appear in the correct sequence, which is important for products such as Booklets.

Imposition requires careful planning and understanding of how the final product should look.
