Halftone

Halftone refers to a technique that simulates continuous-tone imagery through the use of dots.

These dots vary either in size, shape, or spacing, creating the illusion of different shades of grey or colour when viewed from a distance.

This technique is essential in printing images and photographs, especially for newspapers, Magazines, and Posters, as it allows for the reproduction of tonal range using limited colours.
