Spot Colour

Spot colour refers to a method of specifying and printing colours in which each colour is printed with its own ink.

In contrast to process colour printing, which creates colours by mixing primary colours, spot colours can ensure a perfect match every time.

This technique is particularly beneficial for brand-specific colours, vibrant hues, or metallic and fluorescent colours, which cannot be accurately reproduced with traditional CMYK printing.
