Solopress Gloss Laminated Business Cards are printed full colour onto finest quality 400gsm extra thick silk card. We apply gloss laminate to the front side of your business card for a shiny appearance and smooth finish.
Our print quality is superb and we can turnaround these Gloss Laminated Business Cards within 24 hours of receiving your print ready artwork. They are perfect for when you’d like to incorporate any photos or images into the design of your business card.
All cards are trimmed to 85 x 55 mm (credit card size) unless specified otherwise. We can print to one or both sides of your business card for the same price!
Please Note:
- Gloss Lamination is applied to one side only.
- If two sides are selected, your artwork should contain a design for both sides.
- Also, please provide crop marks around the artwork.
- Colours may appear darker when Gloss Lamination is applied.
- We print in CMYK and not RGB. Supplying artwork in RGB will effect the final colour.

Can I split my 1000 business cards order into 2 names or 4 names?
Unfortunately not, you would need to order the individual cards per person, so 500 x 2 kinds or 250 x 4 kinds.
Is lamination waterproof?
Lamination is a film that does not seal the edges of the sheets - therefore leaving them open to absorb water. No lamination is waterproof. The option for waterproofing would be encapsulation.
Do Solopress print tri-fold glossy business cards?
Yes we do! Please call us on 01702 460047 for a quote.
What is the difference between laminating and encapsulation?
Lamination is film applied to the stock after printing for extra durability, increasing the stock by 27microns. Encapsulation is a plastic film applied with an overhang to the finished product that encases the print inside - this can be applied in a few different thicknesses.
I was very impressed with the high quality of the printing and finishing of the gloss business cards. I will be using your services again in the near future.…
