Business Cards, supported by Elvis Presley singing his 1963 hit Bossa Nova Baby, are the stars of Heineken’s TV advert now showing in the UK…
The City commercial by Dutch brewing company Heineken shows a single man embarking on a city adventure with only the missing business cards of a mysteriously beautiful woman to guide him. Each business card takes him deeper into the neon heart of the city, but will his wild woman-hunt eventually lead to the girl of his dreams? Of course it will, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a blast finding out how.
Just goes to prove that you never know when a high quality business card will come in handy!
Created by the Amsterdam office of advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, The City campaign was the work of art director Mike Bond and copywriter Bern Hunter. Photographer Neil Massey handled the ad’s print production.
“The Cities of the World campaign aims to inspire and motivate Men of the World to get out of their comfort zones, to embrace the unusual and embark on worldly adventures in their own cities,” says Gianluca Di Tondo, senior brand director at Heineken.
Heineken have also produced a set of specially designed lager beer bottles, each with one of six global cities – Amsterdam, Berlin, London, New York, Rio de Janeiro or Shanghai – printed on it.
Elvis fans can also download the TV ad’s Bossa Nova Baby (Viva Mix) soundtrack on iTunes at http://smarturl.it/elvis_BNB_itunes. The Bossa Nova Baby: The Ultimate Elvis Presley Party Album is available in select iTunes stores.
